UI/UX Designer

• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for Torch’s webstore, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
• Analyze user behavior and feedback to identify pain points and implement solutions that enhance usability and engagement.
• Focus on improving user experience by optimizing UI elements, navigation flows, and interaction patterns.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for new features or redesign projects.
• Work closely with Web Developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs and functionality.
• Conduct usability tests and gather insights to improve design and user satisfaction.
• Monitor webstore performance and user metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
• Run A/B tests to evaluate design choices and optimize conversions.
• Ensure the webstore is fully responsive and provides a seamless experience across devices.
• Keep up with the latest UI/UX trends and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or related fields from a reputable university.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in UI/UX design is required, preferably in e-commerce or webstore projects.
3. Proficiency in design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop.
4. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
5. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles with pixel-perfect accuracy.
6. Experience with using Shopify themes and the ability to customize features and designs to meet e-commerce needs.
7. Strong portfolio showcasing past UI/UX projects, particularly for web-based platforms.
8. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
9. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across teams.
10. Creative and innovative mindset, aligned with Torch’s values of innovation and user-centered design.
11. Familiarity with responsive design principles
12. Understanding of e-commerce user journeys and conversion optimization.
