🎨 Job Description

  • Evaluate and design the overall user experience (UX) for the website, focusing on usability, ease of navigation, and the overall journey of the user. This involves conducting user research, understanding user personas, and mapping out user pain points and end-to-end flows to ensure the website is intuitive and meets the needs of our diverse customer base.
  • User Interface Design: Develop and implement the visual design (UI) of the website. This includes the creation of design elements such as icons, buttons, and widgets, as well as the selection of color schemes, typography, and layout that enhance user interaction and brand perception.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new website features and improvements. Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and identify areas for enhancement, iterating on designs based on user data and feedback to improve the site's performance and user satisfaction continuously.
  • Market trends: Keep up with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies. Understand best practices and advocate for user-centered design practices within the company.
  • Work closely across stakeholders to collect and assess requirements and iterate designs, including collaboration with Product Manager, Tech Team, Marketing and also Management Team. Ensure that all design and branding is fully aligned across all content assets.

🤹🏻 Skills

  • A bachelor’s degree and ideally 3-6 years of experience in UI/UX design.
  • Exposure and/or experience with North American and other Western markets is a must, as well as strong interest in developing market-leading user experiences for the beauty / skincare segment.
  • Ecommerce / Internet / Online marketplace experience is a must.
  • High proficiency in design and prototyping tools, in particular Figma.
  • Strong problem solving skills, with an ability to handle ambiguity and complex challenges, whilst thriving in a fast moving startup environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with an ability to collaborate effectively in a highly multicultural team.
